CHÂU Kim-Sanh (she/her)
is a dance and video artist. Her stage work has been presented at the MAI, Tangente, l’Arsenal, l’Écart (Canada), Krossing-Over (Vietnam), Performance Curator Initiatives (Philippines), and SIDance (Korea), among others. In 2025, her new project *SQUAT* will premiere at Agora de la danse. Châu is also a filmmaker, with a particular interest with cinematography and body in motion. Her work is produced by company MIDLAND - active in Tio'tia:ke Mooniyang Montréal (where she lives) and in Saigon (where is originally from). Châu is also artistic director at Studio 303, and hold a Master in Dance (UQAM, 2021) and a Master in Finance (Aarhus Business School, 2011).

Ses pièces ont été présentées au MAI, l’Arsenal, l'Écart, Tangente, et à travers plusieurs festivals internationaux, dont SIDance (Corée), PCI (Philippines) et Krossing-Over (Vietnam). En 2025, sa nouvelle création *SQUAT* est diffusée à l’Agora de la danse. Châu réalise aussi des films d’art avec un intérêt marqué pour la cinématographie et le corps en mouvement. L’ensemble de son travail artistique est produit par la compagnie MIDLAND - à Tio'tia:ke Mooniyang Montréal (où elle vit) et à Saigon (d’où elle est originaire). Enfin, Châu est aussi directrice artistique du Studio 303 et est diplômée d’une Maitrise en danse (UQAM, 2021) et d’un Master en Finance (Aarhus Business School, 2011).

Her stage creations have been presented at the MAI, Tangente, l’Arsenal, l’Écart (Canada), Krossing-Over (Vietnam), Performance Curator Initiatives (Philippines), and SIDance (Korea), among others. In 2023, she collaborates as a dancer with Ariane Dessaulles, Erin Hill, and compagnies Katie Ward, Carpe Diem /Emmanuel Jouthe. Châu is the artistic director at Studio 303. She was an associate artist at EQUIVOC’ from 2018 to 2024. In 2024 she founded her own company, MIDLAND, which supports her artistic practice.

De 2018 à 2024, Châu était artiste associée chez EQUIVOC’. Elle a depuis fondé la compagnie MIDLAND, qui soutient sa pratique artistique
